Bridge Center Board Chair Kathy Kliebert, District Attorney Hillar Moore, Police Chief Murphy Paul, and Coroner Beau Clark spoke at to the Press Club about the tax needed to develop and operate a mental health center in Baton Rouge. The public safety and healthcare leaders said that the property tax, which will appear on Dec. 8 ballots for Baton Rouge voters, could create a cost-savings tradeoff.
