Secretary Jack Montoucet of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries discussed their push for the first overall license fee hike in 15 years, aside from a 2014 increase for saltwater fishing licenses. The license increase will appear as a bill during the 2018 regular legislative session. Also discussed were other ways that the department has been able to efficiently reduce their budget.
