Debris from the crash killed a young mother; 76 others sued
More than $22 million has been paid by NJ Transit to settle lawsuits stemming from a fatal Hoboken Terminal crash in 2016, according to a report from NJ Advance Media. On Sept. 29, 2016, a Pascack Valley Line train entered the Hoboken Terminal preparing for a final stop but instead accelerated and slammed through a concrete barrier at the end of the track.
