Flight attendants at United Airlines voted in a near-unanimous decision Wednesday to approve a strike authorization. The vote marks the first time in 20 years that flight attendants at United have voted to authorize a strike. The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, the union representing United flight attendants nationwide, has been bargaining with the airline for nearly three years.
