More than 186 stores nationwide have joined Starbucks Workers United since January
Baristas at the Church Street Starbucks in Montclair voted unanimously to join Starbucks Workers United, the international union supporting the movement. In a letter to Starbucks’ CEO Howard Schultz, workers on the organizing committee said the store is understaffed, workers improperly trained and using equipment that doesn’t work properly, and that workers who complained had their hours cut.
